Mauricio Lang
Mauricio graduated with a GPA of 3.83. He plans to major in Physics. His extracurricular activities have been marching band and Academic Decathlon. His awards include District Honor Band and Junior Honor Guard. He has volunteered in a Bell Choir, tutoring and Sierra Service Project. Statement of goals: “The two interests in my life are science and band. I hope to combine both of these at UNL. I would like to major in Physics. After my bachelor’s degree, I would like to go to graduate school. I would like to do research for a company or university. During college, I would like to have a good time. I will be trying our for the UNL marching band on May 24th to play the tuba. My hope is to be in this award-winning band to cheer on the huskers. At Alta Loma High School I have been known as the Nebraska kid. My wardrobe is basically a Nebraska T-shirt and jeans. I have never lived in Nebraska, but my mother is from Nebraska and we have visited often while growing up. Since I was in Junior High, I have wished to attend UNL and be in the Marching Band.
