Matthew Gonzalez
Matthew graduated from high school with a GPA of 4.33. He plans to major in Biological Sciences. He participated in football and varsity track and field and California Scholarship Federation. Awards: College Board’s Nation Hispanic Recognition Program; Stauffer Junior 4.0 Scholar, Golden Bear- Science, Mathematics and Foreign Language; coaches’ awards in football and track; and Most Dedicated in track. He also volunteered in various community services. Statement of goals: “While
at the University of Nebraska, I plan to major in Biology. After graduation
I would like to continue my education either in medical school or by studying
biomedical engineering. I hope to obtain an internship during this time
in order to make it easier to obtain a job after finishing my graduate
school. I plan either to become a doctor or to find a job at a biotechnology
