Jillian Schafer
Jillian will be our first four year scholarship awardee. She is currently majoring in Marketing and Accounting with a GPA of 3.46. Extracurricular activities are Alpha Kappa Psi and LEAD- a leadership development program. Awards are Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving and Decision Making Certification, Dean’s List in the College of Business Administration – Fall 2007. She volunteered to tutor an Italian student in English. Statement of goals: “This
semester I was able to fulfill my goal of studying abroad in Italy. It
was such a wonderful experience and one I know I will remember forever.
I learned so much just by putting myself out there and becoming the “foreigner”.
It was rewording when I was able to relate to people of other cultures
and learn the basics of a new language. Next year I will be a senior and
hope to continue growing and learning more in my field. Some of my goals
for next year include joining more clubs and making the Dean’s list
again. I cannot believe how quickly these years have gone by, but I have
