Jillian Schafer
Current GPA 3.54 Jillian is majoring in Accounting and Marketing at UNL. She will be a junior this fall. She has been a recipient of our CFN Scholarship for the past two years. She was on the UNL College of Business Administration Dean’s List for the academic semester of spring 2006. This year she played on an intramural co-ed broomball team and a softball team. She also is a member of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. Last spring she volunteered at the UNL theatre costume shop. Her summer plans are to play on a fast pitch softball team as well as get a job. Goal Statement “As the end of my sophomore year comes to an end, I am beginning to realize how quickly my college career will fly by. Another successful year has passed, and I now look forward to new challenges and new friends that the next year will bring. Right now I am in the process of applying at a study abroad program in Italy, so my goal is to do that next spring. My hope of becoming a Certified Public Accountant still stands, but I have decided to also major in Marketing. I decided to double major because I am interested in advertising and with a marketing major I will be able to get an emphasis in advertising. I am excited about next year and hope that studying abroad will be an amazing experience and opportunity to learn about another culture. At UNL I have been able to achieve some of my goals already, and I cannot wait to see what great opportunities will come up in the future.” Click
