Colby Lane Keslar
Current GPA 3.98 Colby plans to major in Mathematics and undecided. His extracurricular activities included Junior Varsity Football, Varsity Baseball, Martian Arts (1st degree Black Belt) and Tech Club. His awards were Academic Honor Roll, Academic Principal’s List, Academic Headmaster’s List, Outstanding Pre-Calculus Student, California Scholastic Federation and AP Scholar. He volunteered at Youth Camp, Operation Christmas Child, Feeding the Homeless at Shelters, and Stock Food for Food Banks. His employment is listed as “Janitor and Detasseling.” Statement of Goals My goals in life are fairly simple, but probably much different than most kids. First, I would like to go to college and double major in mathematics and either history or theology. I will have 18 credit hours when I graduate from my high school, Oaks Christian and hope to graduate from college in 3 to 31/2 years because of that. After college I want to get a teaching certificate to teach preferably in high school and later hopefully start a family. These are not lofty goals that many kids would have like a lawyer or doctor and to be well off financially. All I want for myself is to teach kids and hopefully make them want to learn like I do. Finally thank you for your consideration of me for this scholarship” Click
