The 2008 Californians for Nebraska Founder's Day will be at The Grand Event Center in Long Beach on Thursday, January 10th. The academic speaker will be Athletic Director and Hall of Fame Coach Tom Osborne. The academic speaker will be Willa Cather, the niece of the famous Nebraska author with the same name.

Dinner: 7 to 7:30 PM
Business Meeting: 7:30 to 7:45 PM
Willa Cather: 7:45 to 8:15 PM

The price is $55 per person for CFN members and $75 per person for non-members (which includes one year membership in CFN). New grads since 2005 are $45. There will be a no host bar. Menu is choice of Tri-Tip steak or chicken. Seating is limited to 500 and this event may sell out. In the event of a sellout, CFN members who purchase tickets by December 15th will be given priority.
